October 2022 HOA Board Meeting

Board Members Present: Kristin Mudgett, Erin Cecil, Matt Ferris, Jake Nechrebecki, and Bridget Peoples

TREASURY:
Accounts are balanced and the standard pool savings deposit was used for new pool furniture purchased this year.
Utilities to increase roughly by 30% for the 2023 year. The Board will evaluate at next meeting ways to adjust the budget in order to save money. Plans to find other bids and work on negotiating contract with current carrier for trash service will be addressed over next month.
Treasury Report accepted. 1st-Matt, 2nd-Kristin
LANDSCAPE:
Suburban will clear detention basin when they can get to it. Possibly look for alternative ways to reduce costs for 2023.
The current landscape company will trim trees and bushes around pool for hourly cost. Company to give hour amt estimate prior to doing work. Water shut off scheduled for Friday November 4th, 2022.
RGB Lawn to provide holiday light install this year. Matt to inquire about possible trimming while cherry picker available.
WEBSITE/SOCIAL:
Information regarding Halloween party posted to Facebook and Instagram. More followers to sites since sharing info in newsletter. Halloween parade to start at Alden/50th and walk up to the end of the cul-de-sac on Constance. Parade to start at 5:30pm where pizza and soda will be served.
ARCHITECTURE:
Enclaves build: HOA board's attorney is in contact with property owner. Daily fines have been approved by board members 4-yay, 1-nay, and passed by majority vote.
POOL:
Pool and bathrooms winterized.
Contractors will provide estimates for treating cracks in concrete deck around pool.
Look into costs for cameras and Wi-Fi,
OLD BUSINESS:
Halloween parade all set for Monday.
Welcome to new pool chair.
NEW BUSINESS:
Next meeting will be primarily budget planning for 2023. Next meeting set for Monday, November 14th, 2022 at 7pm at Kristin Mudgett's home.
